April 1993 - April 1994 Consulting System Architect at AT&T, NJ.
Designed and developed two client-server applications: a Promotion Management System (MS Windows Client) and a Customer Sales Application (Motif Client). Solely designed the three-tier software architecture and class libraries for both applications. Development environment included Sybase on Sequent (Dynix 2.0.1) and NCR 3455 (UNIX SVR4), Open-Client Library, Transact-SQL, XVT Design/XVT Toolkit (for Windows and OSF/Motif 1.1), Microsoft Visual C++ and AT&T C++. Responsible for integrating the sales application with an external Billing System using X inter-client communication and Sybase RPCs. Recommended object-oriented design and development techniques and established software development standards for the projects. Provided technical leadership to a team of five members.
