1990 - 1997 Independent Research as part of Ph.D. program, Rutgers University.
1997: Dissertation Research: A Systematic Methodology to Support the Creative Idea Generation Phase of the User Interface Design Process.
1995: Implemented an online bibliography service, called LINKBase, for the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM containing abstracts from hypertext conferences. Designed the service using Relationship Management Methodology, a popular methodology for designing hypermedia applications. Developed the Web gateway to Ingres using CGI, csh, C, and ESQL.
1994: Submitted an independent state-of-the-art review paper on Hypermedia systems and applications. Investigated implementation issues, database issues, user interface issues, information retrieval techniques, standards, integration issues, and applications. This widely received paper has been on the WWW since 1994.
